GoSumsel – Dalam Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) Sumsel ke-XII yang akan dilaksanakan pada November mendatang di Prabumulih, membuat Bupati Muba Dodi Reza sudah pasang kuda-kuda untuk menargetkan kontingen Muba merebut juara pada ajang tersebut.
Tak ingin dikenal sebagai peraih runner up, Pembina dan Penggerak Olahraga Terbaik se-Indonesia tersebut menginstruksikan semua pihak yang terlibat untuk melakukan persiapan dan latihan yang matang.
“Kita Targetkan juara umum, oleh karena itu saya instruksikan kepada Kadispopar dan Ketua KONI untuk bekerjasama untuk serius mempersiapkan atlet,”ujar Bupati Muba Dodi Reza Alex, kepada awak media, Minggu (8/9).
Bukan hanya itu, sambung Dodi, untuk mencapai target juara umum, persiapan yang tidak boleh terlupa yakni memastikan sarana dan prasarana di kota penyelenggara tersedia dengan baik, terutama untuk kontingen Muba.
“Jangan lupa disana sarana dan prasarana sangat penting. Atlet sudah latihan, capek-capek disini, berbulan-bulan sudah TC, begitu sampai disana penginapan tidak memadai, kurang makan, itu akan mempengaruhi konsentrasi para atlet,” jelas dia.
Oleh karena itu, kata orang nomor satu di Bumi Serasan Sekate ini, pihaknya akan terlebih dahulu mengirim tim pendahulu. Dimana tim ini bekerja untuk memastikan apa yang dibutuhkan para atlet dan official kontingen Muba terpenuhi selama mengikuti Porprov 2019.
“Jadi, tim pendahulu harus masuk duluan, tim ini yang mempersiapkan penginapan, makan, termasuk transportasi dan sebagainya. Saya tidak mau atlet Muba disana mengalami kesusahan atau terbengkalai begitu saja. Dipikiran para atlet itu adalah hanya bertanding,” tegas dia.
Disinggung mengenai Cabang Olahraga (Cabor) unggulan, Dodi mengatakan seluruh cabor yang diikuti merupakan unggulan dan diandalkan untuk mendulang medali emas guna mencapai target juara umum, seperti panahan dan pencak silat.
“Seluruh cabor merata semuanya andalan kita. Intinya Muba harus juara. Untuk prestasi dan medali yang diperoleh para atlet itu ada hitungannya, ada bonus, pasti ada bonus,” kata dia.
Meskipun menargetkan juara umum, pihaknya tetap menilai seluruh kontingen merupakan saingan yang ketat dan patut untuk diperhitungkan. “Untuk kabupaten/kota semuanya menjadi saingan. Tapi secara tradisional, kita ini musuh bebuyutannya dan kejara-kejaran (medali) adalah Kota Palembang. Namun, semuanya kita nilai sebagai pesaing yang bagus,” tandas dia.
Sementara itu, Plt Kadispopar Muba Muhammad Fariz menyebutkan pihaknya telah bersinergi dan berkoordinasi Intensif dengan Ketua KONI Muba Agus Raflen terkait pematangan kontingen yang terdiri dari atlet PPLP-D Muba dan atlet-atlet Koni dari Pengcab yang ada di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin.
“Latihan yang intensif juga terus digenjot bagi atlet-atlet yang akan turun nanti di ajang Porprov. Persiapan akan terus dimaksimalkan,” pungkasnya.(gS/ba)
