GoSumsel – Merespon positif rencana pengembangan kota metropolitan, baru di luar Pulau Jawa. Demi mendorong aktivitas ekonomi tumbuh lebih cepat yang berujung pada pemerataan wilayah Nusantara.
Pemkab OKI pun berencana mengubah Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) yang sejak lima tahun terakhir belum direvisi.
“Jadi memang sudah saatnya ini dilakukan revisi, karena memang sudah lebih dari lima tahun. Apalagi dinamika pembangunan terus berjalan,” kata Bupati OKI melalui Sekretaris Daerah H. Husin, S. Pd usai membuka kegiatan FGD penyusunan konsep rencana revisi RTRW Kabupaten OKI 2013-2033 di Kayuagung, Rabu (13/11).
Husin menegaskan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) di Kabupaten tersebut harus mendukung program prioritas nasional seperti Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera dan rencana pengembangan metropolitan baru Palembang, Betung, Kayuagung, Indralaya (PATUNG AGUNG RAYA) dimana OKI menjadi penopang kawasan tersebut.
“Menyesuaikan dengan dinamika pembangunan serta harus berdampak multi sektor termasuk terhadap dampak lingkungan,” lanjutnya.
Terpenting, tambah Husin terus berkoordinasi lintas sektoral sehingga kendala atau masalah apapun yang dihadapi dalam penyusunan rencana revisi RTRW ini bisa cepat diselesaikan.
“Jangan lagi dengan pola kerja menunggu, kalau dengan begitu ini tidak akan tuntas. Harus banyak inovasi,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Sekretariat Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUTR) Kabupaten OKI, Sujasmin mengatakan, FGD RTRW digelar untuk membentuk rencana RTRW Kabupaten OKI yang komprehensip.
Untuk itu, dihadirkan berbagai pihak mulai dari pihak Pemda, perusahaan hingga Lembaga non pemerintah (NGO).
“Kita ingin mendapatkan masukan-masukan agar ada solusi tiap permasalahan tata ruang termasuk solusi terhadap bencana banjir dan kebakaran lahan” ungkapnya.
Sujasmin menerangkan pihaknya sedang merampungkan peta potensi sumberdaya yang di wilayah OKI. Diantaranya peta sebaran sumber daya air, sebaran gambut, hingga potensi sebaran serat optik.
“Peta ini jadi acuan kebijakan ke depan seperti untuk penanggulangan kebakaran pada lahan maupun pemukiman langkah konkrit apa yang harus dilakukan,” ungkapnya.(gS/Ki)
