Diketahui, saat ini di Kota Sekayu ada beberapa pengerjaan proyek infrastruktur fasilitas publik, yakni diantaranya Gedung Olahraga (GOR) Ranggonang, trotoar di sepanjang Jalan Kolonel Wahid Udin, Stadion Serasan Sekate, Gelanggang Remaja Sekayu, Hotel Ranggonang, Kolam Retensi di depan Rumah Dinas Bupati, serta Gedung Dharma Wanita.
Tanpa pengawalan, suami Thia Yufada tersebut tampak sesekali mengobrol dengan masyarakat sekitar lokasi proyek pembangunan infrastruktur. “Semua pembangunan sesuai progress,” ungkap Dodi.
Lanjutnya, khusus Hotel Ranggonang harus dibenahi dengan fasilitas yang maksimal dan baik. “Jadi, kalau ada event nasional maupun internasional tamu ke Muba ini bisa nyaman, kalau fasilitas baik tamu pasti puas berkunjung dan menginap,” tuturnya.
Kemudian, Ketua KADIN Sumsel ini juga akan meminta pihak pelaksana proyek pembangunan fasilitas publik di Sekayu untuk bekerja tepat waktu dan menjaga kebersihan.
“Jangan sampai jalan raya kotor, semua material harus dijaga jangan buat kotor jalan. Kita jaga Muba yang sudah dapat Piala Adipura Kencana ini,” imbuhnya.
Sementara itu, Heri salah satu warga Jalan H Abdul Somad kelurahan Serasan Jaya Sekayu ini mengaku takjub dengan perubahan percepatan pembangunan infrastruktur pelayanan publik yang ada di Sekayu.
“Alhamdulillah sekarang di era pak Dodi Reza trotoar dibangun dan diperbaiki, taman-taman publik dibangun. Jadi kami warga Sekayu ini sekarang ada tempat untuk rekreasi,” ungkapnya.
Ia menambahkan, sejumlah fasilitas publik lainnya juga dibenahi guna memfasilitasi kebutuhan masyarakat. “Bertahap, pembangunan di Muba ini dilakukan secara merata, semoga terus dilakukan,”tungkasnya.(gS/ba)
